Symposium Misinformation Research Amsterdam

As part of the MiRA (Misinformation Research Amsterdam) initiative, BENEDMO-partner the University of Amsterdam is hosting a symposium on October 8, 2026 from 12:00h to 18:00h (including lunch and drinks) at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research. The core aim of the symposium is to connect latest developments in academic research to practice and build a network of stakeholders across disciplines. To this end, they blend academic keynotes with reflections from practitioners that work with or are affected by misinformation in their daily work. They envision the symposium to spark debates, collaborations and knowledge exchange beyond the confines of the event.
